Dear Dad I think about you when I close my eyes and tears roll down my face. I see you and your memories all around me and my heart breaks every time I think of you. I'm so glad I got to spend the last couple of nights at the hospital with you. It was painful to watch you in that state deteriating but it gave me great comfort knowing that you held my hand night and day, when you needed me the most. You held my hand with a strong grip not letting go. You have shown us love and showered the family with affection always. I remember as a child you would always say goodbye with a kiss before you went into work every morning. These are the memories I shall cherish forever and it is your love that is instilled in us that is getting our family through this grief. I cannot imagine a life without you Dad, life will never be the same but you you will always remain in my heart. X
